Ford confirmed earlier today that it has commenced production of the Figo Aspire over at India and it is something the locals there should stay away from. This is because everything about the Figo Aspire contradicts to its name.
Instead of being aspiring, the compact sedan is made with only value in mind. Ford made the Figo to measure less than 4 metres long so that buyers can enjoy a cheaper tax bracket with the car. Even so, it seems that everything about the Figo Aspire looks wrong.
If you are to check out the picture above, it seems that the Figo Aspire is going to come with 13” wheels. This is perhaps 2” too small and it makes the compact sedan looks awkward. In addition to that, the short wheelbase somehow results in the Figo Aspire to appear narrow and tall. To make it short, the Figo Aspire is ugly.
Ford has confirmed that the Figo Aspire will come with two different engine options and they are the 1.5L TDCi diesel and the 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine. One might wonder on why Ford didn’t introduce the 1L 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine with the car.
