The Ford F-150 Tremor is approaching its distribution phase fast since it is equipped with a 365hp V6 Ecoboost engine. There is still the traditional turbocharged V8 engine to opt for if fans require 411hp that gulps down every drop of gasoline.
There is no wrong with the Tremor’s design as it looks sporty and vicious for a monster truck. Ford decided to go with a short cabin and a long bed with the Tremor. The eye-candy is with the huge rims and tyres that looks spectacular.
On a drag race, the Ford F-150 Tremor will make its competitors eat its dust. Flooring the Tremor will send it flying to the other side of the world in no time at all.
On the other hand, not all roads are straight. The F-150 Tremor is great in many ways but not its handling. Forcing a turn on the Tremor is not comfortable at all.
Another thing is that the Tremor came at the wrong time. Petrol prices are going off the charts and it doesn’t look like stopping. Ford can miss their past glories all they want but the demand for an energy efficient vehicle is indefinite.
Perhaps the days of overpowered trucks are over. It seems that the only customers that are willing to splurge $37,260 on the F-150 Tremor are either people of the 80s/90s, or fans of pickup trucks.
