Ford has released the second generation Edge and like its predecessor, the brand new SUV is a beauty. Also, it comes with many improvements and new technologies that should be able to amaze car junkies worldwide.
For starters, the new Edge is equipped with adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering system, collision warning with brake support, active park assist, glove box-mounted airbag system, hands free liftgate, 180 degree front camera with washer and inflatable rear safety belts.
In addition to that, the latest Edge comes with a new set of suspensions that are built to absorb the bumps from poor road conditions while also insulating the cabin from noises. The new Edge is also fitted with adaptive electric steering that is paired to the self-parking function.
The brand new Ford Edge, like most Ford vehicles, is offered in four different trim levels. There is the SE, SEL, Sport and Titanium. There are also three different engines to choose from. They are revealed to be a 2.0liter Ecoboost four-cylinder engine, a 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6 mill and a 3.5 liter V6 motor. The engine selected will be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
