The next-generation Ford Edge is one of the most anticipated SUVs around and it will be making its debut next year. Earlier today, Ford revealed more details on the price tag of the vehicle.
The entry level Ford Edge is said to retail at $28,100. This means that the entry price is identical to the outgoing model. The SEL, on the other hand, retails at $31,500. Above it is the Titanium, which cost $35,600 and the Sport which will retail at $38,100. The prices are all-inclusive of the $895 destination fee.
The standard SE, SEL and Titanium Ford Edge are all powered by the same 2L turbocharged four which generates 245hp and 270ft-lbs of torque. Also, consumers will also get the option to upgrade to the 3.5L V6 for an extra $425.Meanwhile, the top-of-the-range Sport will draw its powers from a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 that will produce more than 300hp.
Ford is also throwing in the AWD system as an added package for the SE, SEL and Titanium that comes with an additional price of $1,995. Finally, there us the Technology Package for the SEL that cost $1,395, and the Driver’s Package for the Titanium which cost $1,800.
