Chevrolet announced a recall on the latest Colorado due to an issue with the vehicle’s seats. Apparently, there are some seat frame attachment hooks that are not properly attached to the vehicle body during assembly and this can cause the seats to fly off its place.
A total of 48,309 units of the Chevrolet Colorado were recalled and owners of the affected models are already contacted by the carmaker. Hence, owners are advised to send their pickup truck for inspection and if the issue is found, Chevy will repair it for free.
For me, this is quite a bizarre recall since Chevrolet is going to remove a great safety feature and that is seat eject. I mean, military jets all have seat ejects and so should the Colorado. What do you think?
