About a year ago, Chevrolet unveiled the all-new COPO Camaro, which is developed for the sole purpose of a drag race. The vehicle came with a hard roof and it appealed to the race junkies worldwide.
While there is no certainty on whether Chevrolet will produce the COPO Camaro, rumours have gone rife confirming its development. Today, the world can get a better look at the sports car after X-Tomi shared his visualization of it.
By far, the rendition is simply a beauty. Although, many would question on the Camaro’s disproportions but the aerodynamics is simply sublime.
As for the rumours, it is said that 69units of the COPO will be developed and it will be looking to compete in the NHRA Stock Eliminator and Super Stock drag racing classes. The car will be looking to bag some wins with its 7.0-liter V8 powertrain.
For the street-legal model, Chevrolet confirmed that the COPO will run on either a 5.7-liter V8 engine, a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger motor or a 6.5-liter V8. The Chevrolet COPO is tipped to arrive in the coming months and we can expect to learn more about the vehicle then.
