The BMW X6 is considered as one of the best luxury SUVs in the world today and next year, the vehicle will be updated with an all-new model. It gets more interesting when the rumour mill suggests that the upcoming X6 will also come with a convertible version.
While BMW has yet to confirm on whether the rumours are true, or false, the world can already catch a glimpse of the X6 Cabrio through a concept image of it. The artwork was created by independent designer, X-Tomi and it looks fabulous.
The Hungarian designer took the press photos and altered the vehicle’s body to make it into a 2-door SUV. The roof is also removed to show off the X6 as a cabriolet. The whole process is similar to how X-Tomi created the Nissan Murano Cabriolet not too long ago.
Under the hood, the X6 Cabriolet runs on the .4-liter V8 engine that develops 567 bhp (423 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque and is mated to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission. It is further tipped to arrive here in the USA in spring next year.
