Last year’s SEMA saw the unveiling of the 2015 Baby Blue Ford Mustang and the car became the centre of attention at the event. Ford is aware of it and now decided to produce the vehicle with the aid of Petty’s Garage.
However, the Baby Blue Ford Mustang won’t be enjoying a mass release. Instead, Ford revealed earlier today that the car will come in limited numbers with two stages to observe.
The first stage will see 100 units of the Baby Blue Ford Mustang getting produced and if it does sell well, Ford will then proceed to the second stage where they will produce 43 units more. The number 43 was decided to commemorate the Ford #43 car that has won over 200 times in NASCAR.
Both stages will come with different versions of the Baby Blue Ford Mustang. The stage one model will be powered by a 5L V8 supercharged engine that generates 627hp. The vehicle is confirmed to come with a central exhaust output and also a spoiler to mimic a racing car.
As for the stage two models, the only changes it will receive is with the design. Ford shared that there will be the number 43 printed on the hood and the blue colour will come in two tone. To complete the package, the Baby Blue Ford Mustang will feature a three pieced forged aluminium wheels.
Both stages of the Baby Blue Ford Mustang is expected to make its debut in the coming month. They will also be competitively priced at $62,210 for stage one models and $92,219 for stage two.
