Recalls are commonly made to save life through fixing major issues with a vehicle. For the latest Audi Q3, however, the recall sounds ridiculous.
This is because it involves the sunroof feature which can close on its own even when the Q3 is switched off. For the owners, they find it a convenient as they can turn off their Q3 without having to wait for the sunroof to close.
Unfortunately, the automated feature is going against the federal standards concerning roof panels. Hence, Volkswagen was forced to make a recall for all the Q3 that were produced from April 4 and November 5 last year.
Q3 owners that have gone through the recall joked that they had to splurge on a large umbrella. This is just in case they forgot about the opened sunroof and the umbrella can aid in preventing rainwater from seeping in.
