Last week, Acura launched the all-new TSX sedan and TSX Sport Wagon. The new model arrived as with some minor changes but those changes led to an additional fee of $125 from the previous model.
In detail, the TSX which runs on a 201hp I4 engine that is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission cost $31,530.
Like most other vehicles from Acura, the TSX is offered with Technology Package. We tested it and were indulged with a host of new features like an LED backlit full VGA navigation screen, rearview camera, Song By Voice (SBV) user interface, and the ability to download 15-gigabytes of personal music to the TSX’s hard disk drive.
Design-wise, we can see that the TSX got its styling inspired by the latest Honda Accord from the European market. This is not surprising as the Acura is the luxury arm of Honda. We particularly like the “bionic beaver” snout, which may look awkward to most car junkies out there.
Inside the cabin, everything is neat and tidy like how a luxury vehicle should be. The buttons and the sat-nav screen is well positioned and we really find the control knob system more useful than the BMW iDrive and the Audi MMI. On the downside of things, the screen’s resolution could have been better.
Aside from all of that, the Acura TSX has proved itself as a great car overall. For its price, we find the TSX more worth it than most other luxury vehicles out there.
