Tesla is an American carmaker that is famous for its EV vehicle, the Model S. The car is basically a revolution in the automotive industry as it offers a long electrical range of more than 300 miles.
While many reports might indicate that the Tesla Model S is a bestseller, its sales are actually pretty woeful. John Lovallo, from Merill Lynch, revealed that there are still 3000 units of the car that is pending to get sold.
This contradicts with Tesla’s claims that the Model S is something exclusive and very limited in stocks. Apparently, John burst Tesla’s bubble and it appears that they have overstocked the EV car.
There are other reports suggesting that the vehicle will be shipped over to China and the Europe. However, John rubbishes the idea as a success since the Model S is something really expensive to own. For that same price, the rich echelon at the aforementioned regions will look to purchase other high-end vehicles that have more to offer.
Regardless of what John says, Tesla will surely stick to their exclusive cover story and try to sell each units of the 3000 Model S at a high price.
