Tesla has been bragging on how the Model S is constantly sold out the moment it gets produced. Well, now we dare say that this is a false claim by the American carmaker and is nothing more than an attempt to make Tesla sounds exclusive.
Based on the research done by Merill Lynch, the company discovered that Tesla has yet to sell 3000 units of the Model S. Of course, the status of the vehicles is unknown on whether they are parked in the US, or being shipped outside the nation.
Furthermore, it got more suspicious when Tesla confirms that the prices of the Model S has hike up to $138,000 as they no longer sell the entry level model. The news came together with Tesla, boasting about how the Model S kept every customer happy for 3 months. Well, the truth is that they are unhappy.
It is unsure on what Tesla has up its sleeve. If the Model S is truly being shipped, there is no way it is ending up in China with a price tag like that. The rich echelon in the far-east nation won’t be swayed by Tesla and would rather spend on something else instead.
