2014 Mazda CX-5 Review: It Deserves Better

The latest Mazda CX-5 is easily the best SUV in our books. However, it is unfortunate that the vehicle is not enjoying explosive sales so today, we are going to remind you on how great the CX-5 is.

For starters, the SUV came out with a nice design dubbed as Mazda’s Kodo design language. This basically means that the CX-5 is well proportioned where it is neither too large nor too small.

The interior of the CX-5 too is well-done as it offers a clean, neat and different look if compared to other SUVs in the segment. One example is with the infotainment system that stands above the dashboard instead of being embedded above the dials.

When it comes to space, the CX-5 is very roomy inside so there is no need to worry about comfort with the vehicle. There is also a huge boot space that has 503L of storage capacity to offer.

The icing on the cake is with the CX-5’s performance. Be it the 63bhp 2.0L SkyActiv petrol or the 2.2L SkyActiv turbocharged diesel, both engines performed surprisingly well. They are both tuned to offer ample power and decent acceleration without forgetting about fuel economy.
