Lexus has launched a recall for the NX 200t due to a suspected damage to the ABS actuator. The Japanese luxury carmaker revealed that the issue will prevent the NX 200t from braking and it is caused by the assembly of the CUV.
This is a very important recall as the ABS problem can cause the 200t to crash. Heck, Lexus also claimed that the damaged ABS can also affect the anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control.
A total of 3,000 units of the NX 200t are affected by the recall and owners of the vehicle are already notified of it. The good news is that there has yet to be an accident caused by the broken component.
If the inspected NX 200t is found with the issue, Lexus will replace the parts without charging anything.
