Jeep has finally stepped inside the world of subcompact crossover after launching the Renegade. Despite that fact, the Renegade is still able to match the power of its larger siblings.
Many doubted the Renegade as a sign of Jeep, going soft with its vehicles to join in the trend of fuel economy and gentle designs. The Renegade might have ticked both box but underneath the hot styling is where the monster is hiding.
Jeep showed off this monster through a series of video called Tales of the Trailhawk. In the episodic clips, the Renegade is being put to test on a series of courses that revolves around power. Heck, the compact SUV also handled a tough off-road trail with ease.
In one episode, the Renegade was put on sand dunes and also shallow water and the vehicle drove well. Despite its size, the Renegade is also able to climb a mountain dirt trail without any signs of breaking down.
There is a lot of truth in the Renegade’s description and fans shouldn’t doubt the little monster. It might be small but its offering is as big as the Wrangler and Cherokee.
