iPod Sales Freefalling As Its Popularity Vanishes

At first, it was with Sony’s Walkman. Now the iPod is becoming endangered and will soon come to extinction. The once loved and exclusive music device is losing its appeal and consumers don’t see a need for it.

With todays’ gadgets being able to bring music to our ears just as fine as how the iPod did, the music player is certainly losing its purpose. Even Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, admitted that the iPod is no longer favourable.

Tim added that ever since the mp3 feature becomes one of the core criteria for a smartphone, the company has been expecting the iPod sales to dip. It is certainly a declining business.

The future of iPods is still unknown as of today. There are many signs hinting that Apple might just retire this line of devices. After all, it has been more than 4 years since the last iPod got updated.
