It wasn’t long after the MWC that the front panel of the Apple iPhone 6 was said to have been leaked and it showed the display would reach to a maximum of 4.3 inches. This of course is a lot smaller than the rumours we had heard going around of displays of between 4.5 and 5 inches.
It was a French webstite that revealed the leak of the look of the new Apple iPhone 6, which is said to be heading our way later on this year. However it seems that the iPhone 6 will have a display of 4.3 inches and the bezel will be slimmer than what was seen on the iPhone 5S. It is said that black layers of glass will be included on the glass; this is a recognised trademark of Apple. The home key didn’t look as though it had been aligned properly in the centre and this gave an indication of factory defect and early development signs on the prototype.
If the Apple iPhone 6 does arrive with a display of 4.3 inches, some fans hope that Apple will launch a phablet version later on in the year to match and compete with the displays of the Android phablets.
It was said that Apple could release the iPhone 6 by the summer or September at the latest. The prototype points to us having to wait for a while longer as leaks are dealing with the type of the display and size, so it could take some time for the iPhone to be ready for commercial use.
It is also not confirmed whether Apple will keep up the trend of releasing two phones as they did with the iPhone 5S and 5C. The latter being a cheaper and more colourful version of the iPhone in plastic.
We heard that the iPhone 6 could have the Retina+ IGZO technology and may arrive in a newer form devoid of any home button. The display could be 1080p full HD and rumours were that it may be between 4.6 and 4.7 inches.
The Apple iPhone 6 may be able to respond to gestures and use the Fingerprint ID touch to unlock the device. Gestures could include knocking on the display to waving the hands on the display in order to perform hands free options for Siri.
Apple have been considering reshaping the tech for the iPhone and iPad, including hiding the sensor and camera, there has also been mention of a flexible display.
