Tablets are great and they can even take photos, which do away with the need to have a laptop and phone. However they can get annoying at times as some of the iPads are almost 10 inches and some inconsiderate owners take them to concerts and school recitals and stick them up in the air blocking the view of those sat behind them. This could change however if Apple were to take notice of a unique concept that has been revealed before they design the iPad 6 and include it in the design.
The concept is called the Wise Pad (see images here) and it would solve the issues above with people using large tablets to take photos. The render shows what appears to be the back of a tablet with an elongated region in the middle of the back. This however is a different device and not part of the tablet.
The tech can be removed from the tablet and used to make a phone call or take a photo. Owners of tablets would before have to hold the tablet in both hands and hold it up to take a photo. The concept technology would stay connected to the tablet through Bluetooth and it would be charged through the tablet by clipping into the back of the tablet. The small device could be removed from the back of the tablet and comes with a small touch display for phone numbers along with a camera and flash at the back with the receiver. This could then be held up to take a photo and is a lot more unobtrusive than holding up the entire tablet.
Apple should seriously check this out and consider using it on their iPad 6 as it will be a mass adopted tablet.
