iOS 7.1 untethered jailbreak is still a long way from release and Apple could close the jailbreak with beta 4 of their operating system.
Fans of Apple did get excited about the possibility of an iOS 7.1 untethered jailbreak. Developers were running beta versions of iOS 7.1 and the jailbreakers wanted to know if Apples latest version would close handsets. For now fans have to wait and see if an iOS 7 untethered jailbreak will come out. Those wanting to jailbreak their handsets may wish to stop with iOS 7.0.4 as the Evad3rs have not yet announced anything about the iOS 7.1 jailbreak and Apple may close off exploits when they reveal their latest iOS.
Some fans of iOS have said that iOS 7.1 beta 4 patches don’t seem to have any effect on the jailbreak, however as this is only beta software, Apple could surprise everyone with a patch to close things up. iH8sn0w did say that jailbreakers should not expect an update to Evasi0n for some time.
So as the untethered jailbreak remains up in the air those who do want to jailbreak their devices may wish to stick with iOS 7.0.4 for the time being until we know more.
