Earlier this month, Apple rolled out an update titled iOS 7.1 and it definitely shook the jailbreak community. It wasn’t that long ago when hackers from all around the world rolled out the iOS 7 jailbreak and to see a cracked 7.1 might just be too soon.
However, fans have spotted the 7.1 jailbreak to be out and available on 7jailbreak.com. It is revealed to be created by famous hacker, Joshua Hill aka POsixninja, who is responsible for many jailbreaks in the past.
Despite those claims, Joshua revealed that he has no affiliation whatsoever with the website and warned the fans that it appears to be nothing more than a hoax.
This is true as users reported that downloading the iOS 7.1 jailbreak will redirect them to a page where an app will be downloaded. This app appears to be an advertisement factory where the hoaxer is able to profit from.
Users who are hoping for the 7.1 jailbreak should expect a much longer wait. This is due to the fact that Evad3rs will be ignoring this latest firmware and is looking forward to iOS 8.
On the other hand, there is a chance for Pod2g to take the helm of the iOS 7.1 jailbreak. The hacker revealed that this will only happen if he is bored and have plenty of time to kill.
