Motorola has over the last decade kept up with the current trends in the market and they have made a name for themselves in the touchscreen world.
However there are a lot of fans who have missed the Motorola Droid series of handsets. Today touchscreens dominate the market and phones with physical keyboards are not that much in favour. There does seem to be fans of the Droid though who have been missing these types of handsets.
The Droid has been here for a long time and it did offer owners the physical keyboard they loved. Now we are in 2014 there has been people talking about a Droid 5 heading out way. If Motorola do plan to launch it then it would need to have something special if it is to earn money for Motorola. At the same time they would need to find the balance between a phone that was top end and include a physical keyboard. This may prove to be something of a challenge for the company if they want it to be among the most wanted handsets.
The Droid has been a success in the past, however the Droid 2 wasn’t as popular as fans thought it was bulky and too big. The Droid 5 would therefore have to be of a decent size, but on the other hand Motorola perhaps won’t settle with a display of 4 inches.
Perhaps Motorola will release the Droid 5 this year and it could come with a display of 720p and run Jelly Bean 4.1. Rumored specs have been said to include 2Gb f RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a battery of 2300mAh.
