Verizon Motorola DROID 5 Leaked Again

Many people were disappointed by the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II when it was launched, considering that the handset was supposed to be a power device. This left Verizon customers wondering if the only handset they would see belonging to the high end range that had a physical keyboard was the Motorola Droid. This led some people to question whether a Droid 5 might be in the making.

Some have said that technology has moved away from the physical keyboards and people now prefer to use the on screen keyboard. If so this would make the Droid 5 redundant and Motorola wouldn’t release it.

People do seem to have different views though in regards to this and we heard from one individual who had said they liked the Droid with its physical keyboard but they were given the chance to use the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and they would swap it for their Droid unless the Droid 5 was announced and with it came something great. Other fans announced that they would not be parted from their physical keyboards.

Another issue was size as it was said by one owner that they had remained with their Droid 2 as successors had increased in size. That person hoped that if Motorola released the Droid 5 it would be more in line size wise to the Droid 2 than that of the Droid 4. However reality would suggest that Motorola would not launch a new handset with a display that would be smaller than four inches.

We also heard a rumour that pointed to Motorola launching the Droid 5 at the MWC this February and the device may have Jelly Bean 4.1. There was also a rumour that the device could be close to the Photo Q with the exception of a display of 720p, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage and a battery of 2300mAh. Motorola have kept quiet on the subject.
