We have seen the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3 kernel source code leaked for Android 4.2.2 and this gives us an indication that the firmware may not be that much longer before it arrives.
The KitKat 4.4.2 firmware updates have been rolling out across devices over the past few weeks and it is looking as though the T-Mobile variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T could be the next device to get updated.
Samsung revealed the kernel source for KitKat 4.2.2 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on Friday for T-Mobile and this tells us that it could arrive on the device soon.
The release of the source code was pointed out by XDA member toastido, who foud it at the Open Source Release Centre of Samsung on Friday.
He posted “GREAT NEWS Everyone! Samsung released the kitkat source code for our N900T today! It’s labeled N900TUVUCNB4… Means we should be getting it VERY SOON.”
We don’t know a lot about the update other than it was expected to be revealed on Monday. Samsung usually release the update within a couple of days of revealing the source code.
