Sprint/AT&T/T-Mobile Nexus 6 & Verizon Nexus 7 Rumors

The Nexus line of smartphone from Google has had a bitter relationship with major US carrier, Verizon. However, things look to patch up as the Big Red goes all out to promote the Nexus 7.

The irony is that this is the first Nexus device to ever been taken by Verizon. It could be that the telco has finally saw the value-for-money aspect of the Nexus 7.

Most carriers worldwide have already sold the Nexus 7 since it was release late last year. Verizon has just started earlier this month which raised some question marks.

It is a mystery on what kind of strategy Verizon is playing. Not long from now, the Nexus 6 will make an appearance. Most rumours are pointing out the successor to be unveiled during this year’s Google I/O conference in June. Weeks following the event will see the Nexus 6 being shipped for sale.

Verizon aside, the other major mystery is with the Nexus 6 developer. Despite LG’s success with both the Nexus 4 and 5, many hinted on names such as Motorola and/or Lenovo to take over the production.

This isn’t quite the concern as fans of the Nexus should know that the device will be great nevertheless. After all, there has yet to be a Nexus smartphone that disappoints.
