Did Samsung Just Reveal The Samsung Galaxy S5 Indirectly?

MWC 2014 was the place where Samsung launched the Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smartwatches which are powered by Tizen.

They did this before announcing a Samsung Galaxy S5 and this could be down to the fact that the smartwatches are able to connect to many Samsung Galaxy handsets.

There have been many improvements over the predecessor, for one the camera has a new place, there is better support for fitness and Bluetooth headset music features. But the issue still remains about poor battery life, this is said not to be any different from that seen on the previous version of the Samsung Galaxy Gear.

The Gear 2 watches comes with a 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display, a 2MP camera on the Gear 2, 1 GHz dual core processor, 4GB of storage, Tizen OS and a battery of 300mAh.

Samsung have not said how much the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will cost, but they did say that they will be available by April this year.

It may not be just the two smartwatches that will have Tizen OS installed; a phone could have it too. this was said to have been seen at the Tizen App Challenge event, however this hasn’t been made official.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 may be ready to be shown off as the back portion of it seems to have been seen in a photo that has leaked.

A blogger in the showcase for the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo showed the look of the what were said to be three Samsung Galaxy S5 devices, these were in white, black and gold.

The photo also showed an added function. This was something alongside the LED flash and which was said to be a huge change from the Samsung Galaxy S4 and predecessors. However what this is remains a mystery as we have no idea what it could be.
