There has been speculation that the Samsung Galaxy S5 could be put on hold while Samsung concentrate on other devices. There has also been talk that the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 could offer many of the same features when they arrive this year.
Rumours are going around about the handsets and three things have been speculated to be coming out on both handsets.
It is possible that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5 may offer a 16MP camera. In the past the same camera has been offered on both the S version and Note version of the same year.
One factor that has contributed to the rumour is the fact of Samsung having ordered 181 million 16MP camera modules. The camera could support IOS but we have no idea if this would apply to both devices.
Wireless charging could be introduced this year on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5. GalaxyS5Infor also said that this year we could see the introduction of a fingerprint scanner on the two handsets.
ET News pointed out that Samsung had been working on wireless tech alongside PowerByProxy.
TechRadar also said that they thought this tech may be ready by the middle of the year but this could mean it would arrive too late to be included on the Samsung Galaxy S5.
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 could have KitKat 4.4 unless Google offers something new before the handsets arrival.
GottaBeMobile did say that KitKat 4.4 was being tested on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Meanwhile SlashGear believe that the first handset to be offered KitKat 4.4 in the Samsung handsets could be the Google Play version of the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Samsung have not confirmed they will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or the Samsung Galaxy S5 this year.
