Samsung Galaxy S5, Nexus 6 & LG G3 All Rumored To Feature Identical Technology For Display

We have already seen what is possible with curved displays on the Samsung Galaxy Round and LG G Flex. This has left analysts predicting that flexible displays may be seen on the up-coming generation of handsets from Samsung and LG.

Devices that have been predicted to arrive with curved displays include the Samsung Galaxy S5, the LG G3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG Nexus 4.

Industry reports predict that Samsung will be putting wraparound displays into full production this year. This could be timed with the Samsung Galaxy S5 release.

It was said that wraparound displays may offer users views over three angles, but not 360 degree views. The views would depend on how the device is put down. It may be possible to see the display from various angles, even when the handset is on it back owners would see seams.

LG have been keeping quiet about how they may adopt flexible screen technology, but the LG Nexus 6 and LG G3 may arrive with the technology this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Round was launched in limited numbers last year, so this year the flexible technology may be made more readily accessible with the LG, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 devices.
