Everyone knew that after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5 it was only going to be a matter of time before Samsung offered a mini version. Now we have a clue that it could be on the horizon.
Over on the Indian import site Zauba a phone with the name of the SM-G879 has shown up and this could well be the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.
At the moment details about the phone are very slim, but SamMobile said that the price difference between this and the Samsung Galaxy S5 are very similar to what the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini are.
While this doesn’t mean that the handset is the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, it is possible. Bear in mind that Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini just two months after the announcement of its larger brother. Rumours have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will make its way out in June, so it could be some time before we hear anything official from Samsung.
Rumours point to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini arriving with a Super AMOLED display and running on KitKat 4.4.
