China is a country that preserves its cultures and boasts one of the longest written histories in the world. Even though there are many interesting things about China, the world sees it as the centre for making copies.
Almost everything in this world has a clone copy in China. Things such as cars, mobile phones, coffee, DVDs and many more have their own Chinese brother. It seems that the word copyright doesn’t translate well in Mandarin.
Nevertheless, the latest Galaxy S5 is already seeing its carbon copy being developed. At least that is how the Chinese company known as No. 1 sees it. The China-based phone vendor has been looking into leaks and rumours as well as concept designs believed to be the Samsung Galaxy S5 for its own S7 smartphone.
The company aims to replicate the borderless S5 concept design which looks good in every way. The No. 1 S7 will feature an octa-core Mediatek MT6592 chipset and will be equipped with a 16MP rear camera. For a “counterfeit” device, that is something huge.
If Samsung Galaxy S5 were to have a different look once it got released, the No.1 S7 will be the first non-copy phone from the Chinese company. In addition to that, the doors for it to compete in the global market will most certainly be left ajar. Who knows? Perhaps future smartphones from No.1 will rely on concept designs instead.
