Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & S4 Android 4.4 KitKat Update: Just Days To Go?

Ever since Google launched KitKat 4.4 makers of devices have been trying to be among the first to send the update out to their handsets. HTC along with Motorola told their device owners of their plans to launch KitKat 4.4, but another well-known phone maker, Samsung, kept quiet.

Samsung does have many different handsets to roll the handset out to as KitKat 4.4 offers support for handsets with lower memory. iTechAddict have faith that Samsung will launch KitKat 4.4 in January for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3. We have also heard that the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 may be updated in April. There is some uncertainty though as to whether the update will arrive at all carriers at the same time. Samsung did stop the KitKat 4.4 update for the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, this was said to be down to issues.

Fans of Samsung have also been calling for a change to the TouchWiz UI as they say that it can weigh down the handsets.
