Owners of the international version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 who are waiting for up-to-date software for their handset might be interested in a leaked ROM from SamMobile. The ROM is a test build for KitKat 4.4.2 for the SM-N9005 and it comes just a couple of days after the arrival of Jelly Bean 4.4 for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The ROM offers everything that you would expect from KitKat, this includes a TouchWiz tweaked theme that offers owners the white icons on the top bar, plus the shortcut to the camera on the lockscreen. SamMobile said that this build is close to the final and should not be changed much when Samsung reveal it OTA.
The firmware is for the SM-N9005 device, this is the non-US LTE handset. The update is suitable for a stock device and when making the update owners will lost their data. Owners who want to update should head over to SamMobile for the instructions, files and tools.
