Details about the update to KitKat 4.4 for the international versions of the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Duos have been revealed in a document that has leaked.
SamMobile said that the document comes from an insider of Samsung and reveals the update schedule for some of the Samsung handsets to KitKat 4.4.
A screenshot of the document that leaked appeared online and said that KitKat would be making its way out to some Galaxy devices around April to May. So it is looking as though the update will arrive just after the official release of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
We don’t know if the leaked documents are the real deal, it could be a hoax or an attempt to exploit those waiting for the KitKat update.
On the leaked documents the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 number is wrong, it says it is the SM-N7100 and it should say GT-N7100. This of course could be an honest mistake or it could mean it’s a fake and someone didn’t know the correct model number.
