We have been hearing details about the update to KitKat 4.4 for those who have the Samsung Galaxy S3 international version, along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Grand 2 Duos. This news came around thanks to a document that leaked online.
SamMobile said that the document was from an insider working at Samsung and it revealed the update schedule for devices from Samsung that are going to get updated to KitKat 4.4.
Someone posted a screenshot of the document which said that the update was heading to device of Samsung from April to May. This means that the handsets could get updated shortly after the Samsung Galaxy S5 hits the shelves.
At the moment we don’t have any idea if the leaked documents were fake or the real thing. There is always the chance of it being a hoax. It could be that someone wants to capitalise on the KitKat update for their own gains.
We did notice that the device number for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is wrong. On the leaked document it said it was the SM-N7100 when it should have said it was the GT-N7100. It could however have just been a honest typo, but on the other hand it may be fake.
