Last year, wearables were introduced in the market and proved to be the future of commercial gadgetry. It is 2014 now and we are expecting to see more wearables coming for a release.
Both LG and Google are aware of this growing trend and are already developing their very own smartwatch to accompany their respective devices.
A report at Cnet revealed that Google will be discussing about the LG Nexus smartwatch on its blog next month. This watch is rumoured to be voice controlled after seeing the success of the Moto X. Also it will be colourful.
However, more details like the processor, battery life and size are still a mystery but we can expect Google to avoid repeating the mistakes of the Galaxy Gear last year.
The collaboration of Google and LG has blessed both companies with a long list of success stories. We have seen it with the Nexus 4 and 5. Expect the same kind of product coming with the LG Nexus smartwatch which is expected to debut during the I/O this June.
