The Nexus line of smartphones always makes their entry in the 2nd half of the year. However, every Nexus phone released manages to be an example to all the other phones in the market.
Samsung might have unveiled the Galaxy S5 but we do urge you to wait until the upcoming Nexus 6 to arrive. There are many reasons why you should do so but here are 5 of them.
1. Display
If you think that the S5’s display is superb, wait till the Nexus 6 gets unveiled. Many rumours revealed that the Nexus 6 display won’t be fewer than 5-inch. The display on the other hand is expected to offer 2K pixel resolution.
2. Operating System
It is obvious that with every Google smartphone released so does a new Android OS. Expect the same for the Nexus 6.
3. Battery
The Nexus series has yet to disappoint when it comes to the batteries. This feat will be repeated on the Nexus 6 with either the 3000mAh or 3200mAh battery.
4. Waterproof & Dustproof
Resistance to these elements might not be an original idea but there is no wrong for the Nexus 6 to follow this move. If this is the reason you want to get the S5, then the Nexus 6 will do one better.
5. Processor
Finally is the processor. Word has it that the Nexus 6 will be the first Android smartphone to run on a 64-bit processor from either Intel or Qualcomm. With more leaks coming out, it certainly made things more exciting for the fans.
Waiting for the Nexus 6 won’t be that long. After all, Google will definitely unveil their flagship smartphone for 2014 during the company’s I/O event in June. Until then, we will definitely see what probably will be the 2014 phone of the year.
