LG Nexus 6 Early Release Date Sirens Go Off As Swarm Of Deals On 5 Appear

Over the past years, the Nexus smartphones often gets released somewhere in the fourth quarter of the year. This won’t be the case any longer prices of current Nexus devices are at rock bottom which hints that the Nexus 6 might come earlier than anticipated.

The discounts for both the Nexus 4 and 5 are offered by Amazon. The major online retailer is selling off the 16GB Nexus 4 at only $344.99. At the same time, Amazon is letting go of the 16GB Nexus 5 at only $394 and the 32GB at $499.

The Nexus 4 boasts a 4.7inch, 720p HD display and runs on the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM. It is equipped with an 8MP camera and operates on the Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS.

The Nexus 5 on the other hand offers a 5-inch display with 1080p Full HD display. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 800 with 2GB RAM. There is also an 8MP camera built with it.

There is plenty of uncertainty with the upcoming Nexus 6. For a start, it is unsure if LG will continue to take charge of its production or will it be manufactured by the likes of Lenovo and Motorola. Nevertheless, the rumours can agree on one thing and it is that the Nexus 6 will run on a 64-bit processor. More importantly, the Nexus 6 is expected to bring with it the next Android OS.

All in all, the Nexus devices have yet to disappoint the consumers. The Nexus 6 is expected to repeat that value-for-money feat seen in every other Nexus devices. If waiting is not your thing, then the Nexus 5 and 4 are still there for you to exploit.
