The Apple iPhone 6 could arrive in September and according to speculation it may arrive in two different variations.
Nikkei Asian Review said that we could see Apple launch the iPhone with 4.7 inch and 5.6 inch displays and they could arrive in the fall. This would be one year following on from the iPhone 5S.
It has been said that the iPhone 6 should go into full production soon, if it is to arrive in September. It is possible that Apple will launch both devices at the same time, just as they did with the iPhone 5S and 5C.
However when the iPhone 5S and 5C came out they were both the same size. This time it is expected that Apple will offer devices with displays of two different sizes, this will allow them to enter the phablet market.
Production of the LCD panels may start in April or June, LG have been said to be the supplier of the screens along with other parts that make up the TouchID sensor. The chips for the driver are said to be in the making. At this time we have no idea if Apple will expand the use of the sapphire and use it in the display.
It was said that we could see the iPhone 6 at the WWDC along with iOS 8. However we may see Apple reveal the iPhone this summer, before the event and then follow up with the larger iPhone in September. This would put in in competition with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
At the moment Apple are keeping quiet about the specs and features of the Apple iPhone 6. It has been suggested that it could come with the A8 processor and 64 bit architecture, which would make it faster. Other rumours of specs include the sapphire screen display, better fingerprint sensor and camera, plus improvements in features and capabilities.
