Just before Christmas it was said that we could see the arrival of the Google Nexus 10 2nd gen. This rumour came around after the price tag of the Nexus 7 2nd gen started falling.
Office Depot were offering the Google Nexus 7 2nd gen 16GB version for $180 and they were giving away a $20 gift card. The 32GB version came with a discount of $40.
On eBay the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 2013 was around $210, while Amazon had the tablet on for $200 and up.
The 16GB version of the Nexus 7 2nd gen originally had the price tag of $229. The tablet boasted a display of 7 inches with resolution of 1200 x 1920. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and packs in 2GB. The back camera is 5MP and there is a camera of 1.2MP on the front. The tablet boasts NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and is has support for charging wirelessly.
In the past prices have dropped down during the holidays so last year was no exception. This happens when the manufacturer is about to launch a new product, this sparked rumours that Google may launch the Nexus 10 2nd gen, which has been said to be made by Asus.
Rumour has it that the Nexus 10 2nd gen could arrive at the MWC this year.
It has been said that the Google Nexus 10 2nd gen may have the 10 inch display and 2560 x 1600 resolution. It may run on the Snapdragon 800 or the Tegra 4 CPU, have a camera of 8MP and it will arrive with the latest version of Android, this currently stands at KitKat 4.4 and may be offered in 16GB and 32GB version.
