Google Nexus 10 2 Release Date Clues Surface Once Again

Ever since the Nexus 7 got released in July last year, there has been a long chain of rumours and speculation, hinting on the arrival of the Google Nexus 10 2. This successor to the original Nexus 10 was highly anticipated as it is expected to change the way tablets works.

As every month passes by, all these rumours failed to materialize. We are already in March 2014 now and the old Google Nexus 10 is still on sale when looking at Google’s Play Store. As the hope for the Nexus 10 2 starts to die off, a new rumour surfaced and sounded more likely than ever.

Word has it that HTC will be responsible for creating the next Nexus tablet. It could be with the Nexus 7, Nexus 10 2 or even both. It is believed that the next Nexus tablet is expect to arrive in third-quarter this year. After all, 2014 is the same year where the Nexus line of gadgets will come to an end.

While it might sound exciting, it is best to take this with a pinch of salt. Regardless of everything, this is still a rumour.

If it is true, then expect the Nexus 10 2 to run on either the nVidia Tegra 4 or 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with Adreno GPU 330 and 2/3GB RAM. It will have 32GB of storage, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera and 9500mAh battery. As for the display, expect it to feature a Super PLS 10.1 inch 2560×1600 resolution boasting 299ppi and Gorilla Glass 3.
