We understand why Mazda does not want to offer the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on their Mazda model but refusing to do so now while the rest of the market is offering it is only going to make things worst for them.
Some of think that the infotainment system is just a small part of the vehicle and that people won’t really make a decision to buy or not buy a car based on the infotainment system but we all saw what happen to Ford when they offered their customers the MyFord Touch. The system was so bad that people had to think twice when they look at the Ford models.
Mazda’s infotainment system is not that bad but it is not the best. Some users have already been complaining about how the navigation system does not have real time traffic and the missing Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support will only make things worst for them.
