Before the arrival of the new Honda Civic, there were reports claiming that the Honda CR-V new design will be based on the Honda Pilot but it look like that is not the case anymore.
New spy shot of the Honda CR-V made it clear that the Honda CR-V will be getting a new design that is based on the new Honda Civic. The CR-V will be getting the same grille, headlight, and taillight design.
Not only will they look the same but the Honda CR-V will also come riding on the same Honda Civic platform. Under the hood should be the 1.5 liters VTEC Turbo engine as well as the 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine.
The Honda Civic design should give the Honda CR-V a younger vibe which should help make it more appealing to the younger buyers. With the kind of success the Honda Civic is getting right now, the CR-V future is looking pretty good.
