One of the most common sightings at the recent Geneva Motor Show is the Porsche 911 but each and every model came out with their own exclusive features. It was only some hours ago when we discussed on the Ruf RGT 4.2 and now, we have come across the Turbo Florio.
There is no questioning the fact that the Targa is the best-looking car out of the entire Porsche 911 family. However, it is unfortunate that the original Targa does not come with a turbocharged mill. Ruf too was disappointed by it an hence, decided to develop what they call the Turbo Florio.
Amazingly, the custom-tuned car is built to perform better than the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Ruf shared that the Turbo Florio comes with a whopping 612hp and 608ft-lbs of torque. The motor is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission but there will also be a 7-speed DCT option coming too.
The Turbo Florio is driven on the AWD system and it has a top speed of 205mph. This is really fast and considering the fact that the car has an open top, it makes it more worrying on the safety end of things.
