Suzuki is one of the leading automotive manufacturers from Japan and even after pulling out from the US market, the carmaker still showed progress after it unveiled both the iK-2 and iM-4 concepts yesterday at the annual Geneva Motor Show.
Both concept models came out with a hatchback structure and they also look great in every way. The iK-2, in particular, is confirmed for production and is due to make its debut in Europe next year. Subaru revealed that the iK-2 is built on a new platform that is lighter, more-rigid and safer.
The iK-2 will come out with a different name when produced and it will be powered by a 1L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine. Subaru also teased that they might also introduce a hybrid trim with the iK-2.
Then there is the iM-4 which certainly looks flawless and prettier than the iK-2. The concept is taller and it has that clean-cut, glimpse of the future kind of styling. The front portion is made to appear as if the iM-4 is wearing shades and it also comes with short overhangs.
Subaru shared that the iM-4 will run on the AWD system and will be powered by a 1.2L engine paired to an electric motor.
