RPG fans who have been patiently waiting for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are about to see their wait to grow longer. It appears that game developer, CD Projekt, has delayed the game’s release to February 2015.
CD Projekt wrote a letter to address every party which includes both the fans and investors that revealed The Witcher 3 to debut in February next year. Such a statement totally disappoints the fans who have been anticipating the game to arrive very soon this year.
Nevertheless, the game developer did reveal the cause of the delay. It seems that The Witcher 3 has so much to offer that its landmass is bigger than that on Bethesda’s Skyrim. As such, the not-so-big CD Projekt requires a much longer time to ensure the quality of this upcoming title is in place instead of releasing it as it is.
Despite the disappointment over the wait, fans are definitely relieved that CD Projekt is concern for the game’s quality. As such, the fans are more than willing to suffer a little more as it is for their best. After all, fans wouldn’t want to have The Witcher 3 ending up like Battlefield 4.
