We were supposed to see the new The Walking Dead game by Overkill this year. After what they did with Payday 2, fans couldn’t wait to see what Overkill has in store for them in the new The Walking Dead game.
The game was originally set to be released this year but it looks like that is not going to happen now as the developers have now announced that they will be delaying the game. Instead of a 2016 release, we are looking at a Q3 or Q4 2017 release now.
The new The Walking Dead game should give us a fresh new look on the Walking Dead world. Unlike the Telltale version of The Walking Dead, Overkill’s version will be a co-op game. There is not a whole lot of details right now so all we can do is wait.
The new The Walking Dead game will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Check out the reveal trailer below.
