Chevrolet has already confirmed that they are developing the next-gen Camaro and the vehicle is going to make its debut next year. In addition to that, Chevy confirmed that the Camaro will be built on the same platform used by the Cadillac ATS.
The new platform basically aims at reducing the weight of the vehicle by eliminating the unnecessities and making things more compact.
Now, fans of the Camaro can already catch a glimpse at the future model after spy shots of it got leaked online. While the model in the images might be hidden due to camouflage, it is still obvious to the eye that the Camaro is actually smaller than before.
This basically suggests it to be lighter as well. In other words, the future Chevrolet Camaro is surely going to be better optimized for power and more fuel efficient at the same time.
