Walmart has been dropping the price tag of the iPhone 5C and at the moment the phone is down to $29, providing of course that a contract of two years is taken with the device. With the iPhone 6 being on the horizon we could end up seeing the price tag drop to zero before we get to the end of spring. At the moment the iPhone is once more the leader in the industry.
The Apple iPhone 5C came out with fewer features than the iPhone 5S but it does have the A6 processor, gives around 10 hours of browsing on LTE and it can record in 1080p HD. This is often more than enough for any owner of the smartphone.
With each generation of the iPhone the device seems to offer fewer updates when it comes to features than the handset that came before it. The introduction of a new device is no longer seen as a huge event which is watched around the world as Steve Jobs struts his stuff on the stage and tells us about the benefits of the new iPhone.
Today the iPhone is just an ordinary phone, one among many. Samsung can make phones that are just as good and it is thought that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will boost sales for the company. It will arrive on the market ahead of the iPhone 6 and could soak up demand for a new device before Apple releases their handsets.
The price tag of the iPhone has dropped since it was first released and anyone can pick it up at the moment with a contract of two years for $29. Very soon it could be offered free of charge so that Apple can sell it off to make way for the Apple iPhone 6.
