There is a lot of anticipation from the Playstation community for Unchartered 4 and this upcoming fourth sequel is expected to ‘wow’ the fans when it gets released. The Playstation-exclusive gaming franchise is among the best there is and fans can’t wait for it to debut.
However, it is a different scenario over at Naughty Dog’s office. It appears that Amy Hennig, writer and creative director for the Unchartered series, has called it quit. The lady resigned from all her positions in Naughty Dog after 10 years of service.
It is unsure on what could have triggered her to hang her gloves but some reports suggest that she was forced out by her workmates, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley. Both of them are the game director and creative director from The Last of Us and will pick up on the production of Unchartered 4.
Of course, there is no tail to this speculations yet but there is a chance for Amy to talk about everything in the near future.
Sony, who didn’t get involved in the matter, confirmed that Amy has left the company. The Japanese brand publicly thanked her for her services and wished her all the best in her future.
For the Unchartered fans, they fear that it will be dark times for Naughty Dog in the near future. More importantly, Unchartered 4’s production might be affected by this event.
Despite those worries, Naughty Dog came out assuring the fans that the development of Unchartered 4 will still be as it is and won’t slow down by any means.
