It has been a decade since Half Life 2 got released and there is still no sign of Half Life 3 anywhere. Clearly, this is enough to frustrate the Half Life fans but the community believes that Valve will eventually spill every bean on the matter.
Well, the fans are right and this is evident after Gabe Newell found himself trapped in a major interview yesterday. The co-founder of Valve and the man behind the development of the entire Half Life series managed to keep his composure before giving a short response on Half Life 3.
Gabe shared that Half Life 3 is currently not in production and fans should not expect it to come anytime soon. Gabe also revealed that he is surprised by the strong desire for Half Life 3 shown by the fans. Gabe then switched to another topic probably with some huge relief.
Although not much can be learned from Gabe’s comments, Half Life fans should remain positive since Gabe didn’t deny on Half Life 3’s coming. Unfortunately, this also means more wait for the Half Life population.
