It is 2014 now and the iPhone 6 is the hottest topic around. This was the scenario in within the Apple world until a new rumour surfaced which diverted the attention to the upcoming iPad Air 2.
The iPad Air was only introduced last year and it has won the best tablet award back in the MWC a last week. There has been word that the iPad Air 2 will be waterproof after many users complained that their Apple devices got killed by water.
This waterproof feature is nothing new in the tech industry. Sony has been practicing it with their devices and Samsung tailed behind it. At first, Apple tried to avoid doing the same thing as its competitors but such a feature is vital to just about any electronic device.
If this is to materialize, then the much rumoured iPad Pro is expected to be pushed back to 2015 to make room for the iPad Air 2.
As for the iPhone 6, perhaps Apple realized this later rather than sooner so it is best for consumers not to hope for the next iPhone to be waterproof.
